Data, code and figures reproducing every number in "Within-pad estimation of lateral-length effects: how much of the apparent return to drilling further is location?". Longer wells are drilled where more is expected, so a pooled estimate of the lateral-length elasticity carries the rock along with the length. Comparing wells on the same pad holds the location fixed: on public records for 11,059 Colorado wells and 4,085 in New Mexico the estimate falls from 0.947 to 0.465 and from 0.360 to 0.090. The archive holds the state tables, the pipeline, four checking scripts and the five figures. The article text is not included.
