Gene expression profiling of resistance genes to salt stress in roots of peanut (Arachis hypogaea L.). Arachis hypogaea

Investigation of resistance genes from 36,158 peanut ESTs after salt stress treatment, compared with untreated peanut. Yield some useful insights into salt-mediated signal transduction pathways in peanut. Overall design: A nine chip study using total RNA recovered from three separate untreated peanut roots, three separate 3h salt-treated peanut roots and three separate 48h salt-treated peanut roots. Each chip measures the expression level of 36,158 ESTs.
