(20-08-74) Lingangafelo talking about anticipated holiday, joint trip to Malaita, trouble getting holiday from ‘kambani’ (company) and principles underlying their decision. Story of man claiming to repair watches around North Chinatown, eventually made off with radios. Story about buying a bicycle. Story about time on a bus when man swore at conductor for missing his stop, Linganafelo defended conductor, swearing man took steps (safuru) to make up with Linganafelo.
