Equations of state (EOSs) adopted in Zalmoxis for modelling differentiated rocky planets. Based on the work of Seager et al. (2007), the model uses Vinet and Birch-Murnaghan fits along with Thomas-Fermi-Dirac theory to describe the internal structure, with compositions assumed as follows: an iron core (ε-phase Fe), a silicate mantle (MgSiO₃ perovskite), and an outer water ice layer (including high-pressure phases VIII and X).
