Insights into the bacterial diversity associated with the brown stone centipede, Lithobius forficatus (Chilopoda, Lithobiomorpha)

the goal is to characterize the composition of the bacterial microbiota colonizing specimens of the centipede species Lithobius forficatus in Finland. Specimens were collected across several populations, DNA was extracted from abdominal tissues, and the bacterial gene 16S was amplified and sequenced on illumina platform.
