Survey on physical activity among persons aged 55 - 75 years, 2001

This dataset is taken from the survey on physical activity that Statistics Norway carried through in the spring/summer of 2001, on assignment from the Telemark University Collage and in collaboration with The Norwegian Olympic and Paralympic Committee and Confederation of Sports. The aim of the survey was to map out future needs for physical activity and prepare initiatives in the age group 55-75 years. The survey includes questions about what options there are for physical activity, how active people are, how people motivate themselves for activity and what may prevent people form physical activity.
