资源简介:
One subsurface feature described as a "charcoaly" layer located beneath layers of burned
cobbles was discovered during blading within a small tributary canyon at Big Sky Ranch near Simi
Valley, California. The feature does not appear to be associated with known archaeological sites
in the area. One sample from the feature was examined for pollen to provide a description of local
and regional vegetation that could be interpreted to describe environmental conditions and potential
economic uses of plants at the site.
