MarsWRF-predicted 2pm winds at 1.5m altitude for southern summer solstice in a domain covering Gale Crater.

<br>This file provides 2pm zonal and meridional winds averaged over 7 sols at southern summer solstice (Ls~270°) for a region covering Gale Crater, output from domain 5 of a MarsWRF simulation.<br><br>Variables included are: Lon (longitude in deg E), Lat (latitude in deg N), U (zonal wind in m/s), V (meridional wind in m/s). Every second domain 4 wind output is included.<br><br>These data are used to produce Figure 6 in the paper “Convective vortex and dust devil predictions for Gale Crater over three Mars years and comparison with MSL-REMS observations” - JGR-Planets, 2019 - by C.
