Glacial Cirques of the Putorana Plateau, Central Siberia

This dataset contains a mapped inventory of 200 glacial cirques from the western Putorana Plateau, central Siberia, together with 45 extracted morphometric variables derived from ArcticDEM (10 m) data using ACME 2.0. The dataset includes cirque geometry, dimensions, elevation, slope, aspect, and shape metrics, as well as reconstructed glacier ice-thickness and glacier-surface rasters generated using PalaeoIce 2.0. Equilibrium-line altitude (ELA) estimates derived using the accumulation-area ratio (AAR = 0.58) and area-altitude balance ratio (AABR = 1.56) methods following Oien et al. (2022) are also included. These data were generated to investigate cirque development, mountain glaciation, and palaeoclimatic conditions within the western Putorana Plateau and represent the first regional cirque inventory for this part of central Siberia.
