Microplastic debris was collected via surface trawls in 15 different locations within the western English Channel, using 100, 333 and 500 µm nets onboard RV Plymouth Quest between July - September 2015. Data includes sampling metadata, protocols, microplastic abundance, type and polymer. These data are described and analysed in Lindeque et al. (2020; DOI:10.1016/j.envpol.2020.114721)
