Whole exome sequencing of Pediatric Leukemia blood samples from Mizoram, Northeast India, India

Mizo tribals inhabits Mizoram state which is apart of the Northeastern states of India exhibiting high endogamous nature abide by their strong cultural and traditions. The Mizo's has a distinct lifestyle and food habits as compared to the mainland India which might contributes to the rise of cancer incidence that state has the highest cancer incidence within the country. Exploration of exonic mutations from a such a population is important to understand if there are any unique founder mutations as well as genetic variants that might have a diagnostic, prognostic role towards precision medicine.
