A legacy survey of WR binaries - Part II

We propose to continue our magnitudelimited survey of wellknown WR binariesthat were never observed in Xrays. This detection experiment aims at improvingthe knowledge of the Xray emission of colliding wind systems in a variety ofsituations (i.e. spanning a range of different stellar and orbital parameters).It has a legacy value, as such detections are the starting point of detailedstudies.
