ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND COGNITIVE LINGUISTICS: MODERN APPROACHES TO LANGUAGE MODELING

Annotation: This article examines the relationship between artificial intelligence and cognitive linguistics and their role in modern language modeling. The study highlights the significance of key concepts in cognitive linguistics, including concepts, frames, and conceptual metaphor, in Natural Language Processing (NLP) systems and Large Language Models (LLMs). It also analyzes the capabilities of artificial intelligence in language processing and discusses both the similarities and differences between AI-based language modeling and human cognitive processes.
