资源简介:
1. Overview:This dataset accompanies the PhD project, 'Aligning Multi-modal Affordances for Social Robots to Improve People's Perception and HRI Effectiveness' (Project Time: 1 April 2021 - 20 September 2024). The project involved empirical studies investigating how design features relating to facial expression, voice and behaviour influence user perception and the quality of interaction with social robots. The dataset contains anonymised and processed materials for use in analyses. 2. File structure:/0_Questionnaires/Contains blank versions of the questionnaires and interview guides used during the study. These are provided to help clarify variable origins and facilitate future reuse./A_Face Perceptions/This folder contains data related to users’ perceptions of robot facial design. It includes:sample stimuli used in the face evaluation studiesanonymised interview transcripts discussing impressions and expectations regarding robot facial featuresand processed results from questionnaire-based ratings/B_Voice Perceptions/This folder includes materials and data from experiments exploring how users perceive different robot voice designs. It contains:audio clip samples used in the voice comparison tasksanonymised transcripts from post-interaction interviews focusing on voice perceptionsand cleaned survey data reflecting user ratings/C_Interaction Perceptions/This folder documents participants’ experiences and perceptions of live human-robot interactions. It includes:sample Furhat skills of behavioural scenarios, anonymised transcripts of interviews exploring interaction fluency, responsiveness, and engagement, facial expressions data of participants when they interacted with different robot roles, and quantitative responses from post-interaction questionnaires analysing social effectiveness and usability./D_General and Contextual Preferences/This folder contains survey data measuring general and context-specific preferences for social robot affordances. It includes:user judgments of affordance suitability across general and different application scenariosand individual difference measures such as prior experience, technology acceptance, and attitudes towards machine errors3. LicenceThis dataset is released under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) licence. Preservation & StorageThe data will be preserved in a data repository, the University of Sheffield’s ORDA repository (DOI 10.15131/shef.data.29821235) for at least 10 years after the end of the project. Manual backup copies are stored on the University X: drive via the University’s IT-managed storage service.
