A band saw blade (10) having a continuous band portion with a back side (11 ) and a toothed side (12) and with a working direction (WD)， primarily for sawing isolation material of mineral wool， the blade (10) at its toothed side (12) having teeth (T-Tn) in which each tooth (T) having a toothface (TF-TF) and a toothback (TB-TB) with respective angles α and β， and that tooth gullets (G-G) are located between each tooth (T)， wherein each tooth (T) is provided with a double tip of which one tip is a leading tip (LT) and of which the other is a trailing tip (TT) and between which tips of the double tip of each tooth there is a tip gullet (TG).
