A grazing experiment was conducted at the 'Lake Mere' site in Western NSW from 1986 until the late 1990s. Sheep were grazed at a range of grazing intensities to produce different grazing pressures on perennial grasses. Four grass species were investigated, Aristida jerichoensis, Eragrostis eriopoda, Monachather paradoxa and Thyridolepis mitchelliana. The performance and survival of individual plants from these species were tracked over time.
