This dataset contains handwritten chemical structures of 15 different Cyclic Compounds including aromatic and alicyclic molecules such as Benzene, Toluene, Aniline, Phenol, Purine, Pyrimidine, Thymine, Naphthalene, Anthracene, Cyclobutane, Cyclohexane, Cyclohexanone, Cyclohexene, Ethylcyclopentane, and 1,2-dimethylbenzene.Each compound class contains 30\u201354 unique images, handwritten manually on paper and digitized using a camera and scanner. The images are pre-processed (cropped and cleaned) to contain only the compound structure without additional noise. In total, the dataset includes approximately 500\u2013600 images of cyclic compounds.This dataset can be used for:Image classification of cyclic compoundsHandwriting recognition for chemical notationsStructure recognition and molecule identification
