Includes draft copies of business agreements and indentures, assignments of property as security, bonds to submit to arbitration, powers of attorney (both "general" and "special" - ie. the latter to meet specific requirements), partnership agreements, ship's articles, charter parties of affreightment and indentures of apprenticeship. Contains many agreements relating to the activities of merchants (ie. Kable, Underwood, Lord and Palmer).
