A Clinico-Epidemiological Study of Snakebite Cases in a Secondary Healthcare Center in Rural North India

This dataset supports a retrospective observational study conducted at Kachhwa Christian Hospital, Mirzapur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It includes anonymized records of 910 snakebite cases reported during the calendar year 2024. The data capture demographic details, bite circumstances, clinical features, treatments provided, and patient outcomes.

The primary objective of this dataset is to facilitate the understanding of epidemiological patterns and clinical presentations of snakebite cases in a rural North Indian setting. It is intended to support the conclusions presented in the associated manuscripts.

All patient identifiers have been removed to ensure anonymity. This dataset is provided in accordance with ethical standards approved by the Institutional Ethics Committee (Protocol No. 303).
