资源简介:
ASLdC3, a sophorolipid derivative, induces mitochondrial dysfunction in Candida albicans SC5314. In this study, C. albicans cells were cultured under two distinct conditions: (1) in optimal growth medium at 30C to maintain yeast morphology, and (2) in medium supplemented with serum at 37C to promote filamentation. For both growth conditions, cells were divided into control (untreated) and ASLdC3-treated groups to assess differential responses. Transcriptome analysis revealed that ASLdC3 leads to irreversible arrest of filamentation in Candida albicans SC5314 by disrupting mitochondrial function and impairing metabolic flexibility.
