VPRS 18545 Finance Committee

This series consists of the minutes of the Finance Committee of the Preston Institute of Technology (VA 1212) from May 1970 to November 1981, plus two files of submissions, correspondence, and other papers from 1973 to 1979. The minutes also include regular budget and financial reports. The Finance Committee consisted of the President and Vice President of Council, the Principals of both the Institute and the College, and various other Council members and senior staff. The Finance Committee reported to the Council of the Preston Institute of Technology.The Terms of Reference for the Finance Committee included:- to recommend to Council for approval all budgets of the Institute,- to receive and consider Audited Annual Accounts,- to review and report on income and expenditure against budget,- to approve all projects between $10,000 and $120,000,- to recommend to Council for approval all projects over $120,000, etc.
