This study examines the effects of sloshing on the horizontal lid of a two-dimensional prismatic tank with stiff walls, scaled at 1:10, using OpenFOAM CFD simulations. Variable high filling levels are examined. The study examines the duration of impact and exit, maximum wetted-region length, and pressure distribution on the tank lid at various high filling levels and sway motion amplitudes. Increased filling levels lead to more hits on the lid, longer impact-exit stages, and longer wetted regions. Data related to MARIN (Maritime Research Institute Netherlands) cannot be found here. In files' names, "wr" corresponds to wetted region, "p" to pressure, and "18" and "19" to the amplitude values (A=0.18 m and A=0.19 m, respectively) that are used in this study.
