As one of the main abiotic stresses affecting maize production, salt stress can cause a large area of maize yield reduction in severe cases. The use of molecular biotechnology to study the mechanism of maize salt tolerance and the molecular mechanism of exogenous substances alleviating salt stress is of great significance for the mining and cloning of maize salt tolerance genes and the production and application of exogenous regulatory substances in the future.
