Bacterioplankton profiles of different lakes experimenting cyanobacterial blooms utilizing 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing

The files contain 16S rRNA sequences from water samples that were collected in different freshwater bodies experimenting cyanobacterial blooms in the year 2023. Water samples belong to The Lake in Central Park, New York, USA; Lake Raczynskie and Sulejow Reservoir in Poland, and a water reservoir in Singapore. Preliminary data is given here for the project CyMiBiom (2022/47/NZ8/00689), entitled: Intercontinental comparison of bacterial and archaeal communities associated with the cosmopolitan cyanobacterium Microcystis - unveiling their ecological roles in anthropopressure and climate change.
