This dataset systematically integrates the measured data of global urban road rainwater runoff pollution from 2000 to 2024, covering five key pollutants: Total Suspended Solids (TSS), Total Nitrogen (TN), Total Phosphorus (TP), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), and Ammonia Nitrogen (NH₃-N), with Event Mean Concentration (EMC) as the core statistical indicator. The data is compiled from 132 global urban runoff pollution research literatures, retrieved and screened through multiple databases such as Web of Science Core Collection, MEDLINE, and Data Citation Index. It covers typical cities in China, the United States, South Korea, Germany, Portugal, Canada, Malaysia and other countries, including the statistical characteristics (mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum) of runoff pollution concentration of different underlying surfaces and land use types. The dataset is stored in Excel format, containing three core modules: search strategy, list of literature sources, and statistical summary of pollution data, with traceable data sources and standardized indicators. It can provide basic data support for urban non-point source pollution research, rainwater runoff control, sponge city construction, water environment governance and policy formulation, and is suitable for scientific research and engineering applications in environmental science, urban hydrology, ecological engineering and other fields.
