Spatial transcriptomics analysis of a panel of PDX models of GBM

Visium spatial transcriptomics was carried out on ten glioblastoma PDX models and one tumour free age-matched control brain. Patient derived cell lines transduced with luciferase-GFP were injected into the striatum of immunocompromised NSG mice. Tumours were allowed to develop and progression monitored by IVIS signalling. When mice began to demonstrate signs of disease (weight loss and behaviouraly indicators), brains were snap frozen in cold methylbutane prior to OCT embedding, cryostat sectioning (10um) onto 10xGenomics Visium Spatial Gene Expression Slides.
