In this study, fulvic acid - wheat straw biochar (FA/WS) composites were applied for the immobilization of an efficient pyrene degrading bacterium Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (SPM). The FA/WS&SPM showed superior degradation capacity than free bacteria and biochar-immobilized bacteria.
