Comparing Cardamine hirsuta fruit valves of wild type and spl7 mutant by RNA-seq

Aim: To identify differentially expressed genes within RNA samples of stage 17 valve tissue of wild type and spl7-1 mutant in C. hirsuta. Experimental design: valves were dissected off the fruit at stage 17, that is after reaching final length and at the onset of lignification of EndB cell walls. In the spl7-1 mutant, lignification is reduced in EndB cell walls.
