Searching for the first \d_commaradio-quiet.. gamma-ray emitting millisecond pulsar

We propose to observe a gammaray millisecond pulsar (MSP) candidate, 2FGLJ2339.60532, to search for the first radioquiet.. gammaray emitting MSP ina binary. The Fermi source has a candidate Xray counterpart from Chandra dataand its Xray and gammaray properties are consistent with known gammaraypulsars. The source is also found to have a 4.53hr orbital period in Xray andoptical data. We propose to use the timing mode of XMMNewton to search formillisecond pulsation. Moreover, the high quality energy spectra will allow usto study the spectral properties and phase resolved spectra to constrain thesystem geometry. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
