Monitoring of crack propagation in anisotropic rocks during compressive strength testing using gas permeability measurements

The presented preprint of the article entitled "Monitoring of crack propagation in anisotropic rocks during compressive strength testing using gas permeability measurements" was created based on a contribution presented at the IMEKO TC15 Collegium 2026 held from June 10 to 12, 2026 at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The manuscript of the paper will be submitted for peer review to the Acta IMEKO special issue related to this IMEKO TC15 event.The attached dataset supplements the preprint of the article "Monitoring of crack propagation in anisotropic rocks during compressive strength testing using gas permeability measurements". It contains the experimental data of force and deformation values obtained during triaxial compression loading of all tested rock samples. This data was used to evaluate the of loading force at which gas permeability increases due to the formation of microcracks. The data support the analysis and conclusions presented in the accompanying manuscript.
