MADAGASCAR (2009): HIV/AIDS TRaC Study Among Female Sex Workers in Madagascar within eight Top Reseau Sites SECOND ROUND

PSI/AMMS conducted a second round TRaC survey to identify changes among the target population of Sex Workers (SW) with regard to two main behaviors namely condom use during last sex and recourse to STI treatment. The study also sought to identify key determinants of condom use, and to determine the impact of exposure to PSI programming on behaviors and drivers of these behaviors. This study was conducted in December 2009 on a representative sample of FSW in Antsiranana, Toamasina, Mahajanga, Antsirabe, Antananarivo, Morondava, Fianarantsoa and Fort-Dauphin. The baseline study was conducted in November 2006 in the same sites except for Fianarantsoa.
