The Accessible World Heritage Experience - Grand Cliff Top Walk Project

The project seeks to improve and link existing upper mountains heritage listed walking tracks from Wentworth Falls to Katoomba. The Prince Henry Cliff Walk and Wentworth Falls tracks are listed on the State Heritage Register and are among the most popular walking tracks within the Blue Mountains. The long term proposed work will improve accessibility by upgrading the Prince Henry Cliff Walk from a Class 4 to a Class 3 track, which currently receives a large percentage of the 2,084,000 visitors to the Blue Mountains in 2013.

As part of this project targeted weed control, revegetation, vegetation management and erosion control works will be undertaken to protect down slope, downstream or adjacent habitat to track networks of threatened species.
