该数据集包含1975-2013年青藏高原地区的海螺沟冰川、帕隆94号冰川、七一冰川、小冬克玛底冰川、慕士塔格冰川15号冰川、煤矿冰川以及NM551冰川物质平衡数据。基于世界冰川目录中收集的冰川物质平衡观测数据(World Glacier Inventory,https://nsidc.org/data/G10002/versions/1)以及姚檀栋等发布于第三极环境数据中心平台的(Third Pole Environment Database,http://en.tpedatabase.cn/)冰川物质平衡观测数据以及Global Land Data Assimilation System(GLDAS)数据集提供的气象要素数据(meteo.xlsx中为提取出的各冰川几何中心所在数据网格上的气象要素,包括降水、近地面气温、净辐射、雪面蒸发和雪深时间序列),采用冰川物质平衡计算公式重构了1975-2013年上述七个冰川的物质平衡序列。此重构数据是基于已发布的冰川物质平衡数据对冰川物质平衡公式中的参数进行了率定,并利用冰川物质平衡公式对长时间序列物质平衡进行了重构,其中参数率定结果以及长时间序列数据重构结果均与相关研究成果进行了比对,论证了该数据成果的合理性,具体可参考以下论文。该数据可用于所涉及冰川区域水资源变化研究、扩充了青藏高原冰川物质平衡数据集,并可为未来冰川物质平衡重构相关研究提供参考。

This dataset contains glacier mass balance data for seven glaciers located in the Tibetan Plateau during 1975–2013, namely Hailuogou Glacier, Parlung No.9 Glacier, Qiyi Glacier, Xiao Dongkemadi Glacier, Muztagata Glacier No.15, Meikuang Glacier, and NM551 Glacier. The mass balance sequences of these seven glaciers were reconstructed using the glacier mass balance calculation formula from 1975 to 2013, based on three types of data sources: 1) glacier mass balance observation data collected from the World Glacier Inventory (https://nsidc.org/data/G10002/versions/1); 2) glacier mass balance observation data published by Yao et al. on the Third Pole Environment Database (http://en.tpedatabase.cn/); and 3) meteorological element data provided by the Global Land Data Assimilation System (GLDAS) dataset. Specifically, the file meteo.xlsx contains meteorological time series extracted from the data grids corresponding to the geometric centers of each glacier, including precipitation, near-surface air temperature, net radiation, snow surface evaporation, and snow depth. This reconstructed work calibrates the parameters in the glacier mass balance formula using the published glacier mass balance data, then reconstructs the long-term mass balance sequences via the calibrated formula. Both the parameter calibration results and the reconstructed long-term sequence data have been compared with relevant research findings, which verifies the rationality of this dataset. Specific references can be found in the following papers. This dataset can be applied to studies on water resource changes in the involved glacial regions, expands the glacier mass balance dataset inventory for the Tibetan Plateau, and provides valuable references for future research related to glacier mass balance reconstruction.
