Metric-Aware Analysis of Pressure–Gradient and Wind Coupling

This work introduces a metric-aware framework to analyze pressure-gradient forcing and wind response over East Asia (2020–2025). We show that seasonal variability is governed more by directional alignment than by forcing magnitude, revealing a previously under-emphasized aspect of atmospheric dynamics. A PCA-based representation further demonstrates that the system exhibits a low-dimensional structure.
