Actually, how functional traits such as secondary metabolite production in combination with response mechanism to environmental stress vary across thermal gradient to confer a fitness maximization remains an unanswered question. Therefore, there is the need to reveal which process is shaping the trade-off response observed on the strain INACH3013 to cold stress. The aim of this study will be to assess the expressions patterns of secondary metabolic genes in combinations with genes related to environmental stress response such as Heat Shock, Cold Shock and Oxidative stress.
