Considering the temporal (10-60 minutes) and spatial scale (50-500 km) of MSTIDs, we initially perform grid partitioning of the detrending TEC data using a spatial grid resolution of 1° × 1° and a time resolution of 15 minutes. Based on similar principles, the mean relative amplitude (MRA) is calculated within each grid to represent the short-term averaged activity intensity of periodic disturbances. The MRA dataset use the hdf5 data format and stores data on a monthly basis.(from Jan, 2014 to Aug, 2017). The data variables includes year, day, hour, second, lat (IPP), lon(IPP), and MRA. keyword: ionosphere, medium scale traveling ionospheic disturbances
