Waipa District Plan - Medium Density Residential Zone

These features are a spatial representation of the medium density residential zone in the operative Waipa District Plan. They indicate residential type usage where associated rules come into effect and are used as a guide in the regulatory process, managing land use, subdivision, the environment and economy. The data set was added as part of Plan change 26 'Residential Intensification'. NOTE: This dataset can only be downloaded in a WGS 1984 projection. For accurate spatial analysis in New Zealand, ensure it is reprojected to the NZ standard projection. Zones are predominantly defined by cadastral boundaries (where it was clear that it followed the cadastral boundary either through visual inspection or reference to the legal description(s)). At some location features are based on natural boundaries. Zones are subject to changes undertaken through the Resource Management Act. The Waipa District Plan was made operative on 14 August 2017 and has legal effect from this date.
