Dataset on laser-welded stainless steel I-section beam-columns

The dataset contains test and numerical data for sixteen laser-welded stainless steel I-section beam-columns. This is the world's first dataset on laser-welded stainless steel beam-columns. The test data were obtained from a laboratory testing programme on laser-welded stainless steel I-section beam-columns while the numerical data were obtained from a finite element modelling programme using ABAQUS. The geometric dimensions of the sixteen laser-welded stainless steel I-section beam-columns were also measured and are presented herein.
