Pilot Study of Media Coverage for Prosecutors and Prosecutor Elections, 2020

This dataset records the results of a pilot study of media coverage received by incumbent prosecutors and candidates for prosecutor in the election year 2020. The dataset records each media mention for incumbents and non-incumbent candidates in 27 jurisdictions, spanning four states (AZ, KS, NY, OR). The two spreadsheets (one for incumbents, one for non-incumbents) record not only each media mention, but also information about the mention and the content of the article in which the mention appears.
