Dataset for "Non-conservative Mass Transfer as a Formation Channel for Gaia Black Hole Systems"
收藏资源简介:
This repository contains the dataset used in and presented in the work “Non-conservative Mass Transfer as a Formation Channel for Gaia Black Hole Systems” (arXiv:2511.10728). The binary evolution models of the progenitor systems of Gaia BH1 and Gaia BH2 were computed using MESA version r23.05.1 (MESA SDK 23.7.3 on Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS). Further details of the numerical setup and methodology are provided in Section 2 (Methods) of the paper. Contents MESA_Gaia_BH1/Contains the MESA inlist files as well as three output evolutionary tracks (history.dat files) corresponding to different assumptions about angular momentum loss in non-conservative mass transfer. Models for Gaia BH1 progenitor system discussed in Section 3. MESA_Gaia_BH2/Analogous set of MESA inlist files and evolutionary output tracks for the Gaia BH2 progenitor system presented in Appendix A. StarTrack_population/Contains population synthesis output files generated with the StarTrack code. These data correspond to populations of black holes - star binary systems computed under four different non-conservative mass transfer models, as described in Section 5.
