"This Supplemental Environmental Assessment supplements the analysis contained in the Final Environmental Assessment, Explosives Handling Wharf 1 Pile Replacement Project, Naval Base Kitsap at Bangor (May 2011). The Navy determined that a supplement was required to address changes that occurred and new information made available during the first year of a two-year construction period. The Navy reinitiated consultation with National Marine Fisheries Service, Northwest Region under the Endangered Species Act. The Navy requested an Incidental Harassment Authorization from National Marine Fisheries Service for the second year of construction"--Abstract.
