Database of species recorded in standardized collections in the Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve

Dataset DescriptionThis dataset contains information on the abundance of Odonata species collected at different sampling points within the <b>Adolpho Ducke Forest Reserve</b>, located in Central Amazonia, Brazil. The data were collected over multiple years as part of standardized biodiversity surveys.The dataset comprises <b>76 sampling units</b>, each corresponding to a specific site and year combination. It includes <b>37 species of Odonata</b>, represented in columns with their respective abundance counts.<b>Columns:</b><code>SPECIES</code>: Sampling point code.<code>ANO</code>: Year of sampling.The remaining 37 columns correspond to the abundance of individual Odonata species recorded in each sample.The species list includes representatives from different families of damselflies and dragonflies, such as <i>Argia meioura</i>, <i>Hetaerina amazonica</i>, <i>Mnesarete astrape</i>, <i>Chalopteryx scintillans</i>, <i>Erythemis attala</i>, <i>Microstigma rotundatum</i>, and <i>Triacanthagyna caribbea</i>, among others.This dataset can be used for studies on temporal and spatial patterns of Odonata communities, assessments of biodiversity change, and analyses of the effects of environmental variation on aquatic insect assemblages.
