Changes in nitrogen fixation were observed in the rhizosphere microbial community due to continuous cropping of ginseng, after natural turnover events. Therefore, after this turnover, various amino acids were applied to the soil in which ginseng was planted to observe changes in the rhizosphere microbial community. The purpose of this study was to observe whether there are specific amino acids that suppress disease after a major outbreak of ginseng root rot following the turnover event, as disease levels began to decrease thereafter.
