LncRNA/mRNA sequencing analysis of Rapamycin-sensitive SNU423 cells

mTORC1 is commonly known as a cytoplasmic protein kinase controlling protein synthetic capacity through ribosome biogenesis and mRNA translation. Recent evidence indicates that mTORC1 also acts within the nucleus, where it regulates transcription of rRNAs, tRNAs, and certain mRNAs However, the effect of mTOR on lncRNAs has not been elucidated yet. Here, we conducted lncRNA/mRNA sequencing analysis on SNU423 cells treated without or with mTOR inhibitor rapamycin to track geneic changes.
