We generated a high quality genome of Green Peel, a representative fig (<i>Ficus carica</i>) cultivar in China, using Oxford Nanopore Technology (ONT) long-read sequencing and High-throughput Chromatin Conformation Capture (Hi-C) technology. It serve as a significant reference for further fig functional genomic studies.
