High resolution vertical atmospheric profiling by iMS-100 (Meisei) radiosonde at Tateno station (WMO station number: 47646) during WMO UAS-DC.

Meteorological drone profiling was made at the Meteorological Research Institute (MRI) / Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), Tsukuba City, Japan, from 1 March to 30 April 2024 as a part of the WMO UAS-Demonstration Campaign. In this campaign, routine radiosonde observation using iMS-100 by Automated Radiosonde System at Tateno station was done by JMA's Aerological Observatory targeting 00 and 12 UTC. The data was used to validate the drone-born atmospheric data. JMA's Aerological Observatory made observations and provided the data. This data can be provided only for evaluating WMO UAS-DC drone meteorological data.
