FILE: Sea surface current data
This file consists of Sea surface current data at German, Federal Republic,
light vessels, mainly in the North Sea and the Baltic. Data are available from
1924 to the present. There are a total of 788,000 observations.
FILE: Moored current time series
This file consists of currents from moorings in the Northeast Atlantic (GATE,
1976) and the North Sea (FLEX, 1976). There are a total of 110 stations.
FILE: Vertical current profiles
This file consists of vertical current profiles from moorings in the Northeast
Atlantic (GATE, 1976) and the North Sea (FLEX, 1976). There are a total of
1,230 stations.
