Reasons for online shopping from abroad in Finland 2021

The most important reason for Finns to make online purchases on foreign websites was lower price. Over half of the respondents to a e-commerce survey conducted in 2021 said that they bought products from abroad because of lower price. Better product availability was the second most common reason stated by 41 percent of respondents, followed by wider selection of products with 35 percent.
