Global vegetation phenology dataset spanning 1981 to 2022, containing the start and end dates of the growing season. The dataset has global coverage, with spatial resolutions of 5 km (1981–1999) and 500 m (2000–2022), and an annual temporal resolution. It unifies two phenology extraction approaches based on inflection points and threshold values respectively. The algorithm is applicable to all types of vegetation growth curves, and improves the effective inversion rate in tropical regions.
