Hylotelephium erythrostictum is a plant species with high garden value and notable salt tolerance.As a signaling molecule, nitric oxide (NO) has been reported to participate in the salt stress regulation in many plants. However, the contribution of NO in salt resistance of H. erythrostictum is poorly understood. So we conducted transcriptome sequencing and gene annotation of H. erythrostictum seedlings under NaCl stress, and discovered many differently expressed genes (DEGs) involved in the photosynthetic, reactive oxygen species (ROS) scavenging, and NO synthetic pathways.
